The Controlled Depth Peel is a deep peel that utilizes 30% trichloracedic acid (TCA), which is designed to medically treat acne scarring, wrinkles, fine lines, skin pigmentation disorders, and sun damage. TCA is a non-toxic chemical that is used to cause the surface cells of your skin to dehydrate and then peel off to expose a new layer of undamaged skin with a smoother texture and more even skin tone. The Controlled Depth Peel causes a superficial injury which causes dermal contraction and skin tightening during the natural healing process. The system includes a colored base solution that is mixed with the TCA to give visual cues on the surface of your skin during your peel.
